For those of you old enough (like me) to remember Billy Joel’s “We didn’t start the fire”, this is a great video.

Probably too many local references for non-Malaysians to enjoy, but stay tune for Klang Verbally’s annotated version!

A wonderfully perfect cover of Billy Joel’s We Didn’t Start The Fire by local band The Have Nots. Highlights: “Sejuta rakyat menentang whatever on Facebook”, “Samy Vellu stayed put, ‘til he lost Sungai Siput”, and the bit about Anwar at the end.

It even covers a more comprehensive amount of time than the original, pretty much going from the 1400s all the way up to 2011. That’s at least 500 years on you, Mr. Joel.
