I always wanted to travel. I don’t know when it started, and Asia is the first place that impressed me the most. When I finished school & realized that I had enough money to travel, I booked a flight to Singapore. The whole thing felt unreal, but I wasn’t even that nervous.

I’ve already been traveling for 5 weeks, and I have 7 more weeks to go. I’ll return just before Christmas.

My most intense experience was on my birthday. I stayed up past midnight in Kuala Lumpur, took the bus to Melaka at noon, visited a beautiful tiny little gallery in the evening, and walked through Melaka’s lit-up streets and night market at night. It was stunning!

The team at BackHome is so great.  They’re really nice, & help you with whatever’s on your mind. The atmosphere is also great - I met lots of really nice people, and I’m gonna meet a few of them again on my trip!
